SUPER MEW is made of an exclusive hybrid rubber formula combining flexible and stiff compounds to optimize performance.

The midsize blade is quick, offering an immediate response. Its pronounced ribs and blade tip are uniquely crafted to catch high water volumes throughout the kick cycle for powerful propulsion. Recommended for divers who seek 1:1 power transmittance matching the force of their kick.

Hybrid Rubber

To enable these fins to powerfully, yet smoothly, deliver tenacious propulsive power, Gull’s innovative production methods integrate different pliant and resilient types of rubber for the foot pocket, blade, and ribs.

Pliant Rubber

Softer rubber is used for the foot pocket to allow ease of wear and comfort while still keeping a secure fit.

Stiff Rubber A

Harder rubber is used at the ribs of the fin to support strength of structure and enhance the kick cycle’s rebound elasticity.

Stiff Rubber B

Being slightly softer than the stiff rubber used at the ribs, the blade is formed using a stiffer yet flexible compound to better push off large volumes of water with every kick.

3D Pocket

Firmly hugging the Achilles tendon, the 3D pocket opening has been designed to reduce looseness and to hold your foot just like a sports shoe. This superior fit makes fin work more efficient.

Ribs Designed to Firmly Catch Water

Making the ribs the same height on the top and bottom of the blade has radically improved rebound performance. A balanced kick enables you to powerfully and confidently drive forward on both the down kick and the up kick.

Smoothly Escape Water

The end of the blade is shaped to allow water to smoothly escape. Because the blade rebounds more quickly, throughout your session, you can efficiently keep on kicking.

Side-Slip Stoppers

The same wraparound tread that is on Gull Barracuda Fins is standard. Tread provides better grip on slippery boat decks and rocky shores, or other entries where the footing is poor.
